the grand guides: autumn in amsterdam + the cotswolds
excuse me while i move to the english countryside
ICYMI, i spent recently spent a lovely week in europe. after an opportunity to travel to amsterdam presented itself, i decided to combine my time in the city with a handful of days in the english countryside, and more specifically, in the cotswolds—an area i’ve had saved on my ‘must visit’ list for ages. i was hopeful that the leaves would still be changing up there, that it would still be peak autumn: crisp and cozy, with an abundance of golden hues. i’m thrilled to say i was right! i’m already plotting my return; the region felt like something out of a storybook, and i found myself instantly smitten.
read on for a detailed recap of what we did—from where we stayed to where we ate—plus a google maps lists of my favorite spots in both london and amsterdam.
